Acknowledgement of Country

Bathurst Regional Council acknowledges the Wiradjuri People as Traditional Custodians of the land in the Bathurst Region. Council pays respect to Wiradjuri Elders, past, present, and emerging and acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who live, work and play in the Bathurst region. Council acknowledges the history, stories, traditions and cultural practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and commits to Yindyamarra ways – to do slowly, to respect, to be gentle, to be polite and to honour.
