Home Library Service

The Home Library Service provides a free home delivery of library materials to eligible members in private homes, nursing homes, day care centres and retirement villages in the Bathurst area. Library staff select from the Library resources according to individual preferences. These selected materials are then delivered on a three-week cycle.

Eligibility

People living in the Bathurst area who are unable to visit the library because of incapacity due to illness, disability or age, or their carer, are eligible to register for the Home Library Service. Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Home Library Service will be asked to supply a medical certificate stating they are unable to come to the library themselves. Library staff will visit the person to find out what type of material they would be interested in receiving and to complete the necessary form.

If you or someone you know would like to go on the Home Library Service please complete the Expression of Interest Form below
