Community Information Display
This relates to the display of community information materials on library premises, including the community information noticeboard and brochure carousel.
The aim of community information is to inform and promote a balanced and representational cross-section of community events, services and themes.
Submitting material
Bring material to the service desk at the library.
Materials submitted for display
- Are approved at the sole discretion of the library staff.
- Will not be returned. This applies to material that has been approved or rejected.
- Take time to review and will not be displayed immediately.
- Must be A4 size (portrait layout preferred) or smaller.
Criteria
We use the following criteria to decide what information to display:
We can display
- Information from community groups and not-for-profit organisations
- Promotional material for community events and activities
- Government and community services information
We can’t display
- For-profit events and activities
- Material that is defamatory, obscene and/or offensive
