Book Week
Each year, Bathurst Library hosts local school groups for library sessions tailored to themes and learnings around the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) award-winning titles.
Students also get a chance to learn about the Bathurst Library and all the resources and programs on offer just for them!
Early Educational Centres also have opportunities to book in for special Book Week theme storytime sessions.
Multiple sessions are run during the month of August for school and day care centre bookings.

Schools must provide the contact details of two staff members as well as the number of students attending. Group limits apply.
Public Book Week sessions
The library team also run a special Book Week theme storytime during the official Book Week held from 22 – 28 August 2026.
